Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Montgomery Nagendra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwighd Shrude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nagendra comes to the cage accompanied by The Liberty Bell - John Philip Sousa. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shrude dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Shrude bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Nagendra's head backwards.
Shrude throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nagendra shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Shrude lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nagendra shoots in looking for a takedown but Shrude manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nagendra's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Nagendra working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lin's corner calls for a 1-2. Lin obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Good standup being displayed there by Lin as he connects with a hook.

Storm tries to move into range but Lin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Oooooh!!! Lin has knocked Storm down with a huge combo! Lin steps away and waves a wobbly Storm back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Lin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Storm has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lin.
Lin wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lin. That's going to slow Storm down.
Lin stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Storm takes one to the chin there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Storm crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lin - the referee stops the clock and Storm gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lin. Storm manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Lin lands an overhand right.
Storm is looking to clinch.

Lin lands a big head kick that sends Storm tumbling to the mat! Lin takes a step backwards and waves Storm back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Storm is still on wobbly legs! Can Lin finish him?
