The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels avoids the head kick by Pimp.

Michaels wants to clinch up but Pimp keeps it at a distance.

Michaels closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Michaels thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Michaels seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pimp for as long as he can get away with.

Pimp's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Pimp should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
