It looks like Lincoln Xerex has been cut.
Rock tries to bum rush Xerex with a series of wild strikes but Xerex uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Rock drops Xerex with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Xerex looks back up at him and smiles so Rock waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rock fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Oh Xerex is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rock throws an uppercut from hell that sends Xerex clean off his feet! He's out cold! Rock stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Materla throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Olej tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Materla swivels and escapes.

Materla closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Olej's guard.

Materla postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Olej is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Materla, into his guard.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Olej here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Olej tries to close the distance and clinch up but Materla swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Olej leaves Materla with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Olej comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Olej clinches up with Materla and pushes him back against the cage.

Materla jumps guard and drags Olej to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Materla looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Olej has picked Materla up and slammed him! Materla can't keep hold of the triangle and Olej manages to pass to side control!

Olej wants to stand but Materla has his arm trapped.
Olej scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Materla to see if he's OK.
