Supermies bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rua's head backwards.
Supermies shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

That has opened up Simo Supermies's cut even more.
Rua lands a nice shot that snaps Supermies's head back.
Supermies on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Rua has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Rua working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Supermies doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Supermies manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Supermies got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rua has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Supermies has managed to get both his arms back between Rua's legs - danger averted.

Rua had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Supermies defends it easily.
