Morris throws a head kick that half lands.

Stone bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Morris is trying to get back to his feet.
Morris tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stone wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Stone is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Stone extends the arm and Morris is forced to tap!

Zajtsev wobbles Sagraves with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Zajtsev dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Sagraves to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Smith with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Briggs is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Smith is aware though and is defending well.
Smith with a flurry of punches that miss.

Smith swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

Briggs lands a nice shot to the head.
Smith is arching his back trying to strike from the bottom but Briggs turns him over and now has his back.

Briggs is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Smith has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Briggs doesn't have the hooks in and Smith manages to turn into his guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Smith pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Briggs is keeping the position for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chancho Smith dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Smith shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Briggs is trying to defend but Smith finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Smith has gone for a leg lock! Briggs slips out almost immediately though and dives into Smith's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smith throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Briggs escapes and throws Smith's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Briggs is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Smith is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smith is looking for a sweep.

Smith throws a punch from the bottom, which has left him a bit exposed here… Briggs has an arm triangle now. This could be big trouble for Smith. He's out! He's out cold! The ref pulls Briggs off and Briggs celebrates with his corner.

Andreyev goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Andreyev connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Andreyev's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ben under the eye.
OH! Ben has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Andreyev smells blood and charges in for the finish! Andreyev unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Ben sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Grant swings wildly with an uppercut but Vincent uses good head movement to avoid it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Grant creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Collins misses with a jab, cross combination.
Thomas dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Collins. That did some damage!
Thomas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Thomas throws out a leg kick but Collins moves out of range and Thomas only half commits.
Collins drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Collins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Thomas tries to work over Collins's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Thomas is leaning against Collins and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Collins tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Thomas just stands there and leans against the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santucho lands with a thumping leg kick.

Santucho shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rex is trying to defend but Santucho finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are battling for position here. Rex manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Omar Torres could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mark Walter's chin.

Torres stuffs the takedown attempt from Walter. Walter gets slowly back to his feet.
Walter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Walter avoids a punch combination nicely.
Walter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Torres counter with a right hand.
Walter avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Walter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Torres counters with a stiff right hand.
Torres rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Good shot there by Torres.

It looks like Mark Walter has been cut.

Walter manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Torres on his heels. He'll look to pass Torres's guard now, I'm sure.

Walter drops back looking for a leg! Torres is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Torres manages to kick Walter off! Walter jumps back into Torres's guard.
Walter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Torres swivels though and keeps the full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Walter dives in and grabs Torres's left leg, looking for a takedown. Torres pushes down on Walter's head and hops out.

and Torres counters with a huge left! Walter is in big trouble! He's backing up but Torres isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Walter from any more damage. A dominating finish by Torres!

Our winner, Omar Torres, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
