The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peacock tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mityou sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Peacock somewhat.
Mityou throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Peacock tries for a takedown but Mityou circles away easily

and Mityou counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Peacock tries to kick Mityou off in order to stand up. Mityou Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Peacock wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Mityou wants to lay and pray for a moment but Peacock keeps working.
Peacock is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mityou asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Peacock is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Mityou throws a strike aimed at the side of Peacock's head but Peacock avoids it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Peacock is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Mityou is controlling him well.

Mityou stands up and beckons Peacock to his feet.
Peacock looks gassed!
Mityou tries to clinch but Peacock is having none of it.
Mityou throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Peacock's waist but Peacock gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mityou off to one side.

and Mityou counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Sub Mityou has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Noyuk Peacock.
Mityou trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Mityou is looking to work some ground and pound but Peacock has wrist control.
Peacock is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Peacock wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Mityou manages to pass to side control.
Peacock is trying to stand back up but Mityou is controlling him
Mityou frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mityou controlling the position easily from mount.

Mityou throws some wild stikes that Peacock manages to avoid easily.
Mityou trying to control but Peacock is having none of it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mityou get's back to his feet.
Peacock with a lazy takedown attempt

and Mityou counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Peacock!
Mityou throwing strikes here but Peacock is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Mityou looking to isolate an arm here. Peacock doesn't see it coming and as Mityou extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Mityou !

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burnett dives in and grabs Black's left leg, looking for a takedown. Black pushes down on Burnett's head and hops out.
Black fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Black connects with a body shot.
Burnett misses with a takedown attempt

and Black counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Black drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Black jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Black gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Burnett will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jack Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven Burnett.
Burnett throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Black's waist but Black gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Burnett off to one side.
Black scores with a sloppy right hand. Burnett should have avoided that one.

Burnett shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Black bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Burnett's guard.

Black decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Burnett, up you get!
The crowd cheers as Black lands an impressive looking overhand right. Burnett doesn't seem phased though.

Burnett gets caught flat footed, as Black shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Black trying to control but Burnett is working from the bottom.
Black slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Black is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Burnett looks calm but he's in trouble here. Black gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Burnett is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Black lets go of the hold and Burnett can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Harris is looking to clinch but Guram is avoiding it.
Harris tries to clinch there but Guram circles away.

Harris scores a takedown into full mount!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Guram is wriggling around trying to escape.
Guram wants to hold on but Harris pushes him away.
Harris blocks Guram's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Guram has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Guram is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Harris throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Guram because Harris loaded up on that one.

Harris cracks Guram with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Harris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guram on the ground.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Guram is desperately trying to improve his position but Harris has a good base and remains in mount.
Harris can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Guram is looking to escape.

Harris thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Guram sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Guram is defended easily by Harris.

Harris tries to bum rush Guram with a series of wild strikes but Guram uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Hartmann cracks Madik with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hartmann has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Madik to stand back up!

Madik is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hartmann cracks Madik with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Madik tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Hartmann pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Madik is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Murilo Hartmann!
After winning the bout, Murilo Hartmann thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Marsh postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lee is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Marsh , into his guard.
Lee slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Shmizu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zegan.

Zegan is pressed up against the cage. Shmizu has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Zegan down to the mat. Zegan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Shmizu throws a head kick but Zegan moves out of range.

Zegan tries to keep at a distance but Shmizu has taken the fight into the clinch.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Zegan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Shmizu is proving hard to escape from.

Shmizu has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Zegan doesn't defend quickly enough and Shmizu has managed to lock this one up! Can Zegan escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Shmizu on a fantastic submission victory.
