The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gambini shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kobayashi is trying to defend but Gambini finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Kobayashi is trying to buck Gambini off.

Gambini has hold of Kobayashi's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kobayashi tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Gambini cranks the arm and Kobayashi screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kobayashi, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
