The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chiappinelli closes the distance and clinches up with Formsma, looking for a takedown. Chiappinelli pushes Formsma against the cage but Formsma circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reke steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Cournoyer. That one must have hurt.
Reke is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Cournoyer.

It looks like Jose Reke has been cut.
Cournoyer is looking to clinch but Reke is avoiding it.

Cournoyer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Cournoyer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cournoyer lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Reke backs up against the cage.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cournoyer, as that shot connected.

Cournoyer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Reke on the side of the head.

Cournoyer can't find room to land a body shot as Reke controls the action.
Cournoyer is pressed up against the cage. Reke has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cournoyer down to the mat. Cournoyer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Reke. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Reke keeps the fight on the outside.
Reke tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cournoyer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Reke somewhat.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Reke. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Reke shoots in looking for a takedown. Cournoyer tries to sprawl out of it but Reke keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cournoyer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Cournoyer fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Reke.
Reke chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cournoyer can pounce on him.

Cournoyer paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Reke takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Cournoyer lands a big head kick that sends Reke tumbling to the mat! Cournoyer takes a step backwards and waves Reke back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cournoyer stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Reke walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Reke limp body while Cournoyer jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Munoz bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Brunner's head.
Munoz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Munoz darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Brunner tries to close the distance and clinch up but Munoz swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Munoz connects with an inside leg kick.

Munoz moves into range and clinches up with Brunner.
Munoz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brunner is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
