Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gene Mikami!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker leaves Mikami with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Good leg kick by Walker there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Walker loads up on a big right hand but Mikami slips the punch.
Walker connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Walker throws a nice looking combination but Mikami bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mikami uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Walker.
Mikami misses with a takedown attempt - Walker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Walker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mikami sprawls well initially but Walker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Walker gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Walker apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Squarepants crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tokugawa - the referee stops the clock and Squarepants gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tokugawa. Squarepants manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sponge Bob Squarepants.
I think Tokugawa has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
