Nazario is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Sokoudjou is trying to escape and Nazario transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Sokoudjou is forced to tap! Nice work there by Nazario! Very nice indeed!

Mian throws a right hand that Chavez ducks under and follows up with a left that Chavez also avoids with ease.
Mian shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chavez as he jumps to the side.
Horrible takedown by Mian or perhaps it was just good defense by Chavez which made him look bad.

Chavez Chavez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Da Mian.
Mian is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chavez.

Chavez tries to close the distance and clinch but Mian swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Mian is looking for a kimura but Chavez is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mian to get the leverage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
