Bot tries to sprawl but Penl drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Bot looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Penl is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bot avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Penl.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Penl connects with a nice short shot to Bot's temple.

Penl escapes and gets back to his feet.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Penl throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Penl throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Bot's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Penl dives in looking to finish as Bot flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Penl's strikes! Penl is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Bot's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Bot was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Kumalo wobbles Jenkins with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Kumalo dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Jenkins to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Vanhorn is trying desperately to land a takedown but Orochi is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Vanhorn.
Vanhorn sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Orochi connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Vanhorn tumbling to the canvas! Orochi pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Vanhorn was done - good stoppage!
