McCarthy closes the distance and clinches up with Vukovic, looking for a takedown. McCarthy pushes Vukovic against the cage but Vukovic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mang tries to bum rush Te Whena with a series of wild strikes but Te Whena uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Te Whena lands a glancing blow to the side of Mang's head.
Mang tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Te Whena swivels and escapes.

BOOM! Te Whena lands a beautiful left hook that drops Mang. Mang tries to recover but Te Whena is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Mang lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
