The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russel lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Cain tries to clinch up but Russel circles away and keeps his distance.
Cain moves to clinch but Russel breaks away

and Russel counters with a single leg into guard. Cain didn't expect that.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Russel tries to free his leg and advance position but Cain is retaining full guard.

Scorpio throws a right and a left that both miss.

Scorpio controls Reed momentarily but Reed frees himself.
Scorpio is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Reed is controlling him.

Loughran feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Silva lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Silva lands a left and a right that send Domingo crashing to the mat, dazed. Silva thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Angelo Domingo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva drops Domingo with a huge uppercut! Domingo drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Silva is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kory Hodgins!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hodgins tries to clinch but Kozajowski is having none of it.

Kozajowski rushes Hodgins and presses him up against the cage.
Kozajowski lands with a short shot to the head.
Hodgins is trying to pull guard but Kozajowski has him pressed against the cage.
Hodgins wants a takedown but no success here.
Hodgins has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kozajowski avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Marcin Kozajowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kory Hodgins.
Kozajowski gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hodgins.
Kozajowski stalls.
Kozajowski is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Hodgins is trying to trip Kozajowski. He has hold of a leg but Kozajowski is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hodgins persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Kozajowski is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Oh but Hodgins is tightening it up a little... Kozajowski has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kozajowski reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kozajowski taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hodgins!
