1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jhonny Right! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ibssen tries to close the distance and clinch but Right swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Right looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Right drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ibssen gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Ibssen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ibssen. Ibssen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ibssen controls Right momentarily but Right frees himself. Ibssen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Ibssen in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Right tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Ibssen!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Williams there as he acknowledges the shot. Bruce Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams tries to clinch up but Sinclair circles away and keeps his distance. Sinclair lands an overhand right. Sinclair looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sinclair looks to land a combination. Williams sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Sinclair slaps away a takedown attempt from Williams, before circling back to the center of the mat. Williams ducks under a wild hook from Sinclair. Sinclair throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Williams has a takedown stuffed. Williams throws the kick towards the body but Sinclair avoids it. Sinclair misses with a few strikes there.

That's one minute gone in the round. Williams fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Nikademus Sinclair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Williams. Sinclair misses with a wild body shot. Sinclair throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nikademus Sinclair is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sinclair paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Williams gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Williams wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sinclair has him pressed against the cage. Williams's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jab from Sinclair. A head kick misses from Williams.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sinclair keeps the fight on the outside. Williams wants to clinch up but Sinclair keeps it at a distance. Sinclair scores with a jab to the body. Sinclair scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Williams doesn't seem bothered though. Sinclair stuffs the takedown attempt from Williams. Williams gets slowly back to his feet. Sinclair catches Williams with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Sinclair punishes Williams's body with a nice straight punch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sinclair lands with a hook. Williams tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Sinclair connects with a nice looking jab.
Williams shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sinclair pinned against the cage. Sinclair gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Williams misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sinclair misses with a looping right. Williams doesn't manage to clinch there - Sinclair circles away.
Sinclair lands with a straight right. Williams didn't see that one coming. Williams takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A right-left combo lands from Sinclair.
Williams is rocked! Sinclair throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Williams is still on wobbly legs! Can Sinclair finish him? Williams looks gassed! Sinclair lands with a right that hurts Williams. Williams looks to clinch but Sinclair throws a short knee that drops Williams. This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick from Laitamo lands but James takes it in his stride.
It looks like Stafford James has been cut. James takes a swing at Laitamo's ribcage but misses. James throws a poor cross that misses
and Laitamo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. James is looking to break free of the clinch but Laitamo has double underhooks. James's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Laitamo scores with an uppercut up the middle. A frustrated look appears on James's face as he tries to break the clinch. Laitamo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Laitamo slips under a jab. James avoids the head kick by Laitamo.
Laitamo connects with a looping right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Laitamo! James is out on his feet! Laitamo rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - James is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! James is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Embo tries for a takedown but Rivera sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Embo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rivera to the ground. Embo is now in Rivera's guard. Embo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Rivera throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Rivera is trying to keep Embo in close.
Embo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Embo is pushing down on Rivera's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rivera is fighting to maintain full guard but Embo has managed to sneak the leg through. Embo is trying to work for a kimura but Rivera is defending well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Embo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rivera sees it coming and defends easily. Embo looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Rivera is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

San shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. San moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Johnson.
San landing strikes. Johnson trying to remain calm as San controls from the top position. Johnson is working to avoid the ground and pound but San connects with a decent elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. San is staying tight to Johnson's torso, preventing him from escaping. Johnson taking a bit of punishment here - San scoring with strikes.
It looks like Axel Johnson has been cut. San takes a little break here. Johnson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. San lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Johnson down.
Axel Johnson's cut is getting worse. Johnson tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson seems a little lost for a moment, as San dominates the positioning. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Axel Johnson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. San working the ground and pound. Johnson takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Jeez, Axel Johnson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Knight is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Mir got a little sloppy there for a moment and Knight has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mir has managed to get both his arms back between Knight's legs - danger averted. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Knight is on top in guard.

Mir wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Knight wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mir keeps working. Mir tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knight controlling from side mount. Knight landing strikes. Knight in side control, just content to control the action for now. Knight tries to advance to mount but can't. Mir is working to avoid the ground and pound but Knight connects with a decent elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee asks Knight politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Knight prefers to stall for the moment though. Knight postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Mir struggling a bit here. Mir really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Knight scores with punches from side control. Knight controlling from side mount. Mir struggling a bit here. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dustin Iverson was stalling too much, according to the referee. Wiktor tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Iverson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wiktor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Iverson somewhat. Iverson throws a head kick that misses. Iverson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wiktor manages to avoid it. Wiktor moves into the clinch successfully.

Wiktor moves to clinch but Iverson breaks away and Iverson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Iverson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Iverson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Wiktor to the ground. Iverson is now in Wiktor's guard. Wiktor is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Iverson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wiktor managing to control the position. Wiktor wants to sweep but no luck. Iverson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wiktor swivels though and keeps the full guard. Iverson controls from within his opponent's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dustin Iverson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Wiktor looks to clinch and Iverson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Iverson. Iverson takes a swing at Wiktor's ribcage but misses. Iverson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Iverson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Turtle moves into the clinch. Turtle's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Benjamin is looking to clinch. Benjamin tries for a takedown but Turtle circles away easily and Turtle moves into the clinch.

Benjamin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Turtle moves into the clinch. Turtle gets control of Benjamin's arms and successfully pulls guard. Turtle will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Turtle scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Turtle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Turtle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Turtle trying to control the position from guard on top but Benjamin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Turtle controls from within his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Benjamin is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turtle trying to control but Benjamin is working from the bottom. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
We're going to have a standup here because Tom Turtle wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Turtle pushes Benjamin up against the cage in a clinch. Turtle looking to throw knees to the head but Benjamin is blocking nicely.
Turtle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Turtle throws a front kick aimed at Benjamin's knee but Benjamin avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Benjamin tries to work over Turtle's front leg with a kick but Turtle checks it. Turtle gets a double leg takedown into Benjamin's guard. Turtle wants to pass the guard but Benjamin is keeping the position. Turtle pushing down on Benjamin's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Benjamin is in trouble now - Turtle has advanced to mount! Turtle lands a nice shot to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Turtle has hold of Benjamin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Benjamin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Turtle has control of Benjamin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Benjamin regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Turtle can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Benjamin is looking to escape. Benjamin in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Turtle is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Benjamin can do to turn this around?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Benjamin has left one of his arms exposed and Turtle doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Benjamin screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frey shoots in and bounces Savage off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Frey is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Frey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Savage swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Henry Frey was stalling too much, according to the referee. Frey scores a takedown into full mount! Frey looking to finish Savage with some ground and pound. This is bad for Savage! Frey looking to control and managing it successfully. Frey looking to secure an arm triangle but Savage defends it well.

Frey tries to bum rush Savage with a series of wild strikes but Savage uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Frey looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Frey is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Frey throwing shots but Savage is blocking nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frey seems to be working for a kimura but Savage defends the submission attempt. Frey wants to pass the guard but Savage is defending well. Frey not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Frey keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frey is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Savage sees it coming and defends easily. Frey is figuring out what he wants to do next. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Savage throws a quick inside leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Savage fails with the takedown. Savage gets caught napping as Frey dives in and scores a takedown. Savage manages to retain guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Savage avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Frey stands up from Savage's guard - Frey perhaps looking for a knockout. Horrible takedown by Frey or perhaps it was just good defense by Savage which made him look bad. Frey is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Savage throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Savage tries for a takedown but Frey circles away easily and Frey counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Frey.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Henry Frey wasn't active enough on the ground. Frey tries to clinch but Savage moves out of range. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Savage throws a right hand that Frey ducks under and follows up with a left that Frey also avoids with ease. Frey throws a series of punches but Savage avoids them all with ease. Savage misses with a takedown and Frey counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Savage's guard now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henry Frey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Frey closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Savage did well to prevent Frey getting side control. Frey trying to pass the guard but Savage defending well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Frey missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frey stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Savage to get to his feet. Frey tries to clinch up but Savage circles away and keeps his distance. Frey misses with a low kick. Frey throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Frey wants to clinch. Frey scores a takedown into full mount! Frey throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frey sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Frey lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frey lands a big elbow. Savage stops Frey from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Frey controlling the position easily from mount. Frey stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frey shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Frey was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Frey looking to finish with strikes here!
