He tries to recover but Silva pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Odin is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Kent manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hioko on his heels. He'll look to pass Hioko's guard now, I'm sure.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blow Jimmy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jimmy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Blockson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jimmy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Blockson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jimmy somewhat.
