Madik drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Madik seems to have locked his on tight now - Perfect screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Madik, as he picks up the win!

Hartmann swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dray.
Dray takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Hartmann closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hartmann lands in his opponent's guard.
Hartmann wanted to stand there but Dray had control of the position.

Hartmann throws an elbow that misses. Dray uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hartmann's guard. Nice move by Dray!

Murilo Hartmann has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Hartmann stalks Dray and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dray's face. Dray staggers backwards, shaken.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dray.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricky Dray. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hartmann scores with a jab to the head.
Dray closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Hartmann slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Hartmann fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dray avoids it really well and circles away.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Hartmann doesn't succeed with the takedown

so Dray counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Dray drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dray jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hartmann wants to stand but Dray is controlling the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dray thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Murilo Hartmann showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Dray walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Dray moves forwards but Hartmann connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hartmann, as that shot connected.
Hartmann has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hartmann is defended easily by Dray.

Hartmann fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dray to the ground. Hartmann is now in Dray's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hartmann wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Dray's closed guard. He's half up but Dray has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Dray pivots and extends the arm, Hartmann falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Dray! Well done that man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ricky Dray!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Caleb Foster!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baem plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Baem throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A jab from Baem finds it's way through Foster's defenses.
Baem closes the distance looking to clinch

and Foster counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Baem not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Foster stopping the sweep attempt from Baem.

Foster drops back looking for a leg! Baem is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Baem manages to kick Foster off! Foster jumps back into Baem's guard.

Foster postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Stan Baem just wasn't active enough.
Baem fails with a takedown attempt.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Baem lands a body shot.
Baem lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Baem thumps Foster with a low kick.

Foster drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Baem tries to escape but Foster is in control.

Foster tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Baem is trying to get back to half guard.

Foster has hold of Baem's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Baem seems comfortable defending it but Foster has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Baem is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Baem is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Foster couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Caleb Foster! Caleb Foster retains his middleweight title!
