I think Dray might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Champion. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perfect pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Perfect changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dray tries to avoid it but Perfect manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dray to the ground. Dray escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Perfect gets a clinch.
Perfect wants a takedown but no success here.
Perfect is trying to pull guard but Dray turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Ricky Dray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Perfect .

Summers won't let Hogan get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Hogan circles away from the clinch attempt.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Summers has eaten all the pies!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Summers takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Summers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hogan keeps working.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Nick Summers wasn't active enough on the ground.
Summers dives in and grabs Hogan 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hogan pushes down on Summers 's head and hops out.
Hogan leaves Summers with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Summers is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Summers is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hogan couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Guram goes for a takedown attempt but Maimer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Maimer thows a body shot but no joy.

Guram walks into a left hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Maimer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Guram manages to avoid it.

Maimer takes the fight into the clinch.
Guram wants to break free but Maimer has control.
Maimer can't find room to land a body shot as Guram controls the action.
Guram has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Maimer after a bit of a struggle.

Maimer misses with a low kick.
Guram fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Maimer looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Maimer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Maimer tries to get out of the position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maimer fails to land with a series of punches.
Guram drops his hands for a split second and Maimer immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Guram face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Maimer follows up with a right hand that knocks Guram into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
