Shafer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Luiz shoots in but Shafer avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Shafer closes the distance and clinches up with Luiz, looking for a takedown. Shafer pushes Luiz against the cage but Luiz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Luiz swats away the attempt to clinch by Shafer.

Luiz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to David Luiz.
