The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vic shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marshal sprawls well. Marshal wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vic gets slowly back to his feet.

Lightyear shoots for a double leg takedown but Awa sprawls well. He's pushed Lightyear's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buzz Lightyear. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Awa.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Awa lands a nice looking kick to the body. Lightyear takes a step back to recover.
Awa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lightyear.
Awa lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Awa explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Lightyear closes this distance looking for a takedown but Awa circles away.

Awa feints a jab promting Lightyear to slip. Awa then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lightyear slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Lightyear wants to stay close but Awa steps back to make room for something. Lightyear seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Awa and Lightyear drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
