White has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Saotome should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, White has tightened it up now! Saotome should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roberto Hernando!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernando throws a head kick that misses.
Silva cracks Hernando with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Hernando is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Hernando fails with a takedown attempt.
Bigfoot Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roberto Hernando.
Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hernando shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Silva counters with a stiff right hand.
Silva scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hernando in his tracks.

Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hernando to the mat! Hernando manages to get full guard.
Hernando utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Silva is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Hernando is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Hernando throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Silva manages to pass to side control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hernando shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.

Roberto Hernando's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Hernando moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.
Silva misses with a series of wild punches.
Silva fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hernando on the side of the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Roberto Hernando's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bigfoot Silva!
