Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nate Sonnen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green tries to clinch up

and Sonnen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sonnen.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Sonnen passes Green's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Green is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sonnen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sonnen's back!
