The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rows manages to avoid it.

Tyson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rows looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Thome feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Berg misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Berg shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Narcus as he avoids it easily.

Berg rushes Narcus and presses him up against the ropes.

Narcus has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Berg clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Berg looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Berg breaks Narcus's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Narcus seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Berg trying to control the position from guard on top but Narcus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Narcus trying to keep a closed guard but Berg is proving a slippery customer.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Narcus can do anything to dispel that myth.
Berg stands and throws Narcus's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Berg creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Narcus sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Berg is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Narcus knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Berg is staying tight to Narcus's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Berg goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Narcus rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Berg's guard! Nice work there by Narcus!

Berg is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Narcus defends well.

Narcus is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Narcus is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Berg couldn't care less - he's delighted!
