Undercard bout

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Pot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Torbett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pot kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Showering of Money. Torbett has chosen Motörhead -- The Game as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pot.
Pot lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Javier Torbett has been cut.
Torbett tries to clinch but Pot is having none of it.

Pot gets a double leg takedown into Torbett's guard.
Torbett doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Torbett has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pot can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Torbett has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pot is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Torbett.

Pot is putting a hurting on Torbett here, landing some big shots from side control.
Pot content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Torbett wants to get back to his feet.

Pot is working to tighten is grip on Torbett's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Torbett has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Pot is really squeezing tight and eventually Torbett passes out! Pot breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Jack Pot spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Jashari has chosen Jashari Entrance as his entrance music. Adem Jashari told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! Sazuki doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A slow jab from Mitchel misses its intended target.
Mitchel throws a hook but Sazuki blocks it.
Mitchel throws a series of punches but Sazuki avoids them all with ease.
Mitchel throws a right and a left that Sazuki avoids nicely.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Sazuki. Mitchel shrugs it off though.
Mitchel just misses with a punch to the body.

Sazuki will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A jab from Sazuki finds it's way through Mitchel's defenses.

Sazuki jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Sazuki feints and then cracks Mitchel's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mitchel down.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mitchel fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sazuki throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mitchel on the side of the head.
No joy there for Mitchel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Sazuki lands a left and a right that send Mitchel crashing to the mat, dazed. Sazuki thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Roy Mitchel has been cut.
Crack! Sazuki connects with the perfect overhand right and Mitchel falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Sazuki!

Cobra lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
