The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson dives in and grabs Bones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bones pushes down on Anderson's head and hops out.
Anderson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bones throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Anderson.

Bones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bones prevents the takedown attempt.
Anderson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bones prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Anderson gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bones has hold of Anderson's hands but Anderson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Anderson in particular looking to stall.
Bones is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Anderson scores with a couple of nice shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Anderson content to control rather than advance.
Anderson is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Bones reverses the position - he's now on top in Anderson's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
BOOM! Anderson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Bones is still in real trouble! Can Anderson finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anderson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bones is looking to escape.
Anderson unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Bones wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Anderson celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
