The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Azhiev tries to move into range but Lewis moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Lewis tries to land a leg kick but Azhiev saw it coming and moves away.
Lewis pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Lewis closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Lewis connects with a looping right hand.
Lewis connects with a good right hand that stumbles Azhiev. Azhiev circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Lewis scores with a decent looking hook.
Azhiev fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lewis avoids it really well and circles away.

Lewis might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Sion feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

James is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Bourne is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Bourne flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. James anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Bourne and secures both hooks! This could be bad! James slips an arm under Bourne chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke.
