Maresio feints and as Niles raises his hands in defense, Maresio changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Maresio got a little sloppy there for a moment and Niles has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Maresio has managed to get both his arms back between Niles's legs - danger averted.
Maresio must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
