The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Suez's head.
Suez takes one to the side of the head.
Jordan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Jordan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Suez's head.
Jordan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Jordan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Suez cracks Jordan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Suez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Suez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Suez tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Jordan parries the strikes from Suez easily there. Suez is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Jordan to escape.

Jordan is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Suez's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Suez! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Jordan has tapped! This one is allllll over!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
