The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ficagna drives through and clinches with Banero against the cage.
Ficagna lands a left hand that snaps the head of Banero backwards.

Banero's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Banero gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A jab from Ficagna finds it's way through Banero's defenses.
Banero is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ficagna sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Banero shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ficagna as he jumps to the side.

Banero is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ficagna can't fight it off and eventually Banero manages to take the fight to the floor. Ficagna looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
