Belov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Diggler manages to avoid it.
Diggler throws a jab when Belov was well out of range.
Diggler takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Belov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Diggler was well out of range. Poor timing from Belov.
Diggler throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Belov.
Diggler scores with a nice head shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Belov. Diggler does a little dance to reset his feet.
Belov staying out of range there.
Dmitry Belov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Woo somewhat.

Wi shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Woo is trying to defend but Wi finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Wi seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Woo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wi is thwarting Woo's attempts to control the position.

Woo is looking to control Wi's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Woo avoid being mounted?

Santos Do Nascimento is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Santos Do Nascimento is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kalaski couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Dudoit takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Noir throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dudoit stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Penaali lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Arvo Penaali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Penaali connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hadji momentarily.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emmanuel Bredenberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nelli Kuukeri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bredenberg comes to the cage accompanied by Heja Bamse. With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nelli Kuukeri!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bredenberg closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kuukeri wants to improve his position but Bredenberg is controlling well.
Bredenberg takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
