Bob fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bob shoots in for a takedown but Stroud shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nice sprawl there from Stroud as Bob shoots in.
Glenn Stroud has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dr Bob.
No luck for Bob with that takedown attempt.

Stroud closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stroud lands in his opponent's guard.

Stroud throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bob works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Price escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Price shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Davis pinned against the cage. Davis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Thomas Price seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Davis defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Price.
Davis moves out of range as Price strikes.

Price wants to break free but Davis has control.
Price is trying to force a seperation but Davis has the dominant position.

Davis's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Price scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Price frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Price prevents Davis from getting the reversal.
Price throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

Price is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Davis can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Davis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Price on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Price throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Price avoids the attempt from Davis to control.
Davis on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Davis tries to get out of the position.

Davis has left one of his arms exposed and Price doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Davis screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
