The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Valtonen is defended easily by Tompson.
Valtonen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tompson avoids it really well and circles away.
Valtonen shoots in for a double leg but Tompson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mike Tompson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toni Valtonen.

Tompson closes the distance and pushes Valtonen back into the cage.

Oooooh!!! Tompson has knocked Valtonen down with a huge combo! Tompson steps away and waves a wobbly Valtonen back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Racaza dropped down on all fours and is barking in Frusciante's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

That was a close second round but I would say that Josh Lloyed will probably get the nod.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Merlin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lloyed - the referee stops the clock and Merlin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lloyed. Merlin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
