Marx feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Carwin sprawling to the canvas! Carwin rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Marx finish him?!

Marx drops Carwin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Carwin looks back up at him and smiles so Marx waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Ramos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Veljko defends it nicely.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Veljko enables Ramos to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Veljko manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Zachery Rey will probably get the nod.

Rey finds Savage's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Savage flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Rey lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Savage will be OK.
