The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray leaves Lopez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lopez shoots for a takedown but Ray saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lopez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ray paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ray shoots in but Lopez avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lopez misses with the combination.

Dwyer is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mcgee pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Dwyer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mcgee just stands there and leans against the cage.
Mcgee comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Mcgee jerks Dwyer's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Dwyer drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Mcgee goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Mcgee because Dwyer was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Duncan wants to clinch up but Dodson keeps it at a distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dodson.

Duncan scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Duncan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Dodson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Duncan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dodson manages to get his head free but now Duncan has transitioned to an armbar! Dodson grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Duncan! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
