The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Poslett moves into the clinch.

Poslett changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wayne fights it off and pushes away nicely.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Wayne enables Poslett to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wayne manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Poslett seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Renato Paixao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Renato Paixao had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Paixao shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rogers counters with an outside leg kick.
Rogers lunges at Paixao with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Paixao's hand.
Paixao takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Rogers fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Paixao on the side of the head.
A chopping leg kick lands by Rogers.

and Rogers counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Dimagiba reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dimagiba taps out! Nice BJJ there by Kovacs!

Ting drops Culpado with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Culpado looks back up at him and smiles so Ting waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Hunter is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Hunter reaches up to try and control the position but Bredenberg seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Hunter rolls and tries to escape and now Bredenberg has his back!
