The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindros throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rupunen.
A punch combination from Rupunen misses.
Lindros looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Rupunen misses with a double jab.
Lindros bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rupunen's head backwards.
Lindros lands a really nice looking cross but Rupunen seems unphased.
Rupunen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lindros stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lindros wants it to stay on the feet.
Rupunen throws out a loose jab but Lindros uses good head movement to avoid it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lindros moves out of range of the strikes.

Rupunen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Rupunen is rocked!
Rupunen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Rupunen slips a jab and a cross from Lindros.

Lindros fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Rupunen to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Rupunen looks to clinch but Lindros throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Rupunen taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
