The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marley takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Joseph fails with an attempt to clinch.
Joseph tries to clinch but Marley moves away

and Marley counters with a shoot takedown. Joseph fights it but they end up in guard.
Marley is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Joseph can't keep his opponent in guard - Marley advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Marley's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Marley moves into full mount! Joseph won't be happy about that!

Joseph has left one of his arms exposed and Marley doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Joseph screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Emmeraldo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Richard wants to control from the top but Emmeraldo keeps moving.

Emmeraldo is looking to sinch up a triangle. Richard throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Emmeraldo's body to avoid the submission. Emmeraldo has instead reached around Richard's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Emmeraldo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Joshua loses concentration momentarily and Sanchez pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Joshua crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Sanchez finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
