Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Overdose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Activin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overdose comes into the arena with Powerthirst blaring out of the sound system. Alistair Overdose had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 266.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. That kick from Thai tenderised Duncan's leg. Duncan is trying to keep his angry face on.
Duncan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Thai can pounce on him.
Thai throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Thai connects with a good right hand that stumbles Duncan. Duncan circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Thai throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Duncan gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Thai looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Muay Thai is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Thai throws a head kick that Duncan semi-blocks.
Duncan steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Thai. That one must have hurt.
Thai delivers a nice body kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Thai finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Duncan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Thai - the referee stops the clock and Duncan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Thai. Duncan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Thai feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Duncan's calf.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Duncan sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Thai clobbers Duncan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Thai lands a slapping body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Muay Thai dominated that round.

A relieved looking Muay Thai thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Hogan moves in looking to clinch but Boxer pushes him off.
Boxer moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hogan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hogan throws a jab but it's blocked by Boxer.
Hogan feints a jab promting Boxer to slip. Hogan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Boxer slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Boxer closes the distance and clinches.
Hogan misses with some punches.
Boxer is trying to break free.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Hogan missing with knees to the body.
Boxer tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Boxer is working for takedown but Hogan is calmly controlling the position for now.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hogan gets through Boxer's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Hogan is working Boxer over against the cage.
Boxer looks gassed!
Hogan lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Boxer backwards.

That has opened up Barbara Boxer's cut even more.
Hogan slowing the pace effectively.

Boxer lands with a short head shot on the inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hogan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Hogan misses with a punch on the inside.
A short right from Hogan.
Hogan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Boxer prevents it.
Hogan lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Boxer.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hogan throws a big uppercut that drops Boxer! More strikes from Hogan and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Boxer lies dazed against the cage as Hogan celebrates with his cornermen!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hulk Hogan!
Hulk Hogan spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
