Sparta closes the distance and clinches up with Pretorian, looking for a takedown. Sparta pushes Pretorian against the cage but Pretorian circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Gurgel gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Makonouchi to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Makonouchi has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gurgel to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Makonouchi is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gurgel pulls down on the head and he's put Makonouchi to sleep! This one is all over!
