Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colton Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Washington might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to No Way by Dream Evil. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

A bone on bone clash there as Washington blocks the leg kick.
Washington slips under a jab from Wilson.
Washington shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Washington scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Brian Wilson has been cut.
Wilson misses with a low kick.
Washington ducks under a wild hook from Wilson.

Wilson stuffs the takedown attempt from Washington. Washington gets slowly back to his feet.
Wilson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Colton Washington.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Pietila screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

In his post fight interview, Sakke Pietila started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Haim. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
