The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scholes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ashe's waist but Ashe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Scholes off to one side.
Scholes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Scholes looks for a takedown but Ashe sprawls well.

Ashe manages to get his head free but now Scholes has transitioned to an armbar! Ashe grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Scholes! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Harrison tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Beast manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Harrison stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Harrison wants it to stay on the feet.
Beast shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Harrison but Harrison pushes him off and we're back to square one.

After the fight, Benjamin Harrison was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Hardwick stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Train's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hardwick connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Train scrambles back to his feet.
Train takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Train is breathing heavily.
Hardwick scores with a jab. Train acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jason Hardwick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Train walks straight into a right hand from Hardwick - that's dropped him! Hardwick jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Train from any more punishment! Train complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
