Undercard bout

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Justin Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Milani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Milani has chosen Silicone Curitiba as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Marco Milani struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Milani tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Milani tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Milani has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bunch cracks Taylor with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Taylor tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Bunch pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Taylor is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Romero slaps away a takedown attempt from Kipei, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Horrible takedown by Romero or perhaps it was just good defense by Kipei which made him look bad.

Romero has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kipei should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Romero has tightened it up now! Kipei should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

That has opened up Marnic Pretorius's cut even more.
Morimasa creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Pretorius! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Morimasa.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pukki lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tommy Cottero will probably get the nod.

Cottero steps in with a hook that catches Pukki right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Cottero follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Pukki looks absolutely devastated.
