The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Mai with that takedown attempt.
Whittaker throws a right and a left that Mai avoids nicely.

Mai dances in with a quick combination. Whittaker is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Mai snaps Whittaker's head back. Whittaker stumbles backwards against the cage. Mai steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Whittaker's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Whittaker just didn't come prepared.

In his post fight interview, Jayden Mai started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

He only made it down to 156.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Sanderson loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hall scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Sanderson land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Sanderson stands and salutes the crowd.

Hades Underworld's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
