I think Matwijenko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hас баxamo!. John Thomas told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Good leg kick by Matwijenko there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Matwijenko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Thomas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Matwijenko thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Thomas if he has to take too many more of those.

Thomas throws a wild hook but Matwijenko just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Thomas gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Matwijenko raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Lin tries to land a front kick but Speed steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Speed crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lin - the referee stops the clock and Speed gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lin. Speed manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Speed throws a leg kick but Lin sees it coming and moves out of range.
