Melendez comes into the arena with Bad Company blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Rod Melendez has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rod Melendez seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Scamozzi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Melendez pinned against the cage. Melendez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Pellegrini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Dalton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pellegrini comes to the cage accompanied by Danzig - Mother. The crowd seem to be enjoying Dalton's choice of entrance music: Megadeth Public Enemy No.1. Rock Dalton told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Dalton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pellegrini looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pellegrini is trying to control Dalton's posture but Dalton avoids it.

Dalton tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dalton has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Pellegrini manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dalton can do anything to dispel that myth.
