The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shishkin slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Shishkin walks into a left hand.

It looks like Alexey Shishkin has been cut.
Shishkin stuffs the takedown attempt from Lawrence . Lawrence gets slowly back to his feet.
Shishkin wants to clinch.
Shishkin moves in looking to clinch but Lawrence pushes him off.
Shishkin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lawrence .
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh but Shishkin is tightening it up a little... Lawrence has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Lawrence reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Lawrence taps out! Nice BJJ there by Shishkin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neck throws a head kick that Raith semi-blocks.

It looks like Thomas Raith has been cut.

Neck rushes Raith and presses him up against the cage.

Neck manages to pull guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Raith is looking to work some ground and pound but Neck has wrist control.
Neck trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Neck controls Raith momentarily but Raith frees himself.
Neck has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Raith changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Neck looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Paukku changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Orlak tries to avoid it but Paukku manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Orlak to the ground. Orlak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Paukku might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Orlak has got the better of the exchanges.
