The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Reese looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Reese buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Reese cracks Thashi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Nham Thashi has been cut.

Gonzalez lands a leg kick that knocks Firebird off balance momentarily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Firebird lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gonzalez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gonzalez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

OH! Firebird has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Gonzalez smells blood and charges in for the finish! Gonzalez unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Firebird sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Snuka comes to the ring accompanied by Superfly -- Curtis Mayfield and Ice T . Stark is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jay Z - Dig a Hole. Snuka blocks a low kick nicely.

Stark stuns Snuka with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Snuka takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Stark clips Snuka with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Snuka a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.
Oh Snuka is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Snuka walks straight into a solid jab from Stark. Oh, it looks like it's stumbled him! Stark follows up with a big combo - a right followed by a left that knocks Snuka out cold! Snuka toppled like a tree, face planting on the canvas. Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Thomas Stark! Thomas Stark retains his light heavyweight title!
Thomas Stark bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
