These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valtonen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Brona counters with an inside leg kick.
Brona fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Valtonen avoids it really well and circles away.
Valtonen misses with a double jab
and Brona counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Valtonen throws a left and a right that both miss
and Brona counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Nikitin has chosen Slipknot - The Heretic Anthem as his entrance music. Jack Daniels had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arteta lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Diego Arteta decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
