The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masai slips a jab from Aoki.

and Aoki holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Aoki turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Masai regains half guard.
Masai is trying to control but Aoki manages to pass to mount!

Aoki working for a guillotine from mount but Masai is in no mood to give up.
Masai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aoki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Aoki jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Masai manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Aoki is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Masai has escaped the position, nice work there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Masai trying to control but Aoki flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

Aoki is cranking Masai's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Masai! He's tightened the choke and Masai is tapping out!

Gogoplata jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Peleus walks away with a smile on his face. Gogoplata gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Peleus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gogoplata's guard.
Peleus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gogoplata swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Gogoplata postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Peleus is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gogoplata, into his guard.

Minowaman shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Fitch is on queer street and Minowaman is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
