Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ray Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peleke Kala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machine comes to the cage accompanied by Stupid KId. Kala has chosen Bring Em Out as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Peleke Kala was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kala gets tackled into the cage by Machine. Machine maintains the clinch.

Machine pulls guard.
Machine pulls Kala in to control the position.
Kala must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Machine wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kala manages to pass to side control.
Machine is controlling Kala's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Machine wants to get back to full guard.

Ray Machine has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Kala clinches.
Machine lands a shoulder strike.

Machine has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kala regains guard immediately.
Machine advances position into side control!
Machine tries to advance to mount but Kala denies him.
Machine works to advance to full mount. Kala defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kala is controlling an arm, preventing Machine from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Machine with a couple of short strikes.
Machine takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kala tries to hold on but Machine postures up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kala tries to control Machine's body but Machine pushes him off. Kala squirms to his side and now Machine has his back!
Kala looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Machine lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Kala trying to control the hands but Machine won't let him.
Machine is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Kala is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Machine has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Kala is in real trouble here. Machine gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Kala is tapping out! Machine wins by rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Diaz moves forwards but Hunt connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Hunt throws a big shot that misses.

Diaz feints and as Hunt raises his hands in defense, Diaz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Diaz might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hunt kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Microscopic Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Hunt counters with a crisp right that sends Diaz to the canvas! Hunt follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

After winning the bout, Microscopic Hunt thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tamias Poochyena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Teevie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Poochyena might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to This Life - Curtis Stigers & The Forest Rangers. Teevie is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Stupid Kid. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
