And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sebastien Chabal!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chabal tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Chabal.
A decent looking cross lands there for Chabal.

It looks like Junior Silva has been cut.
Chabal circles away from the clinch attempt.
Chabal will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chabal tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Silva shoots in for a double leg but Chabal sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
No luck for Silva with that takedown attempt.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chabal swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Chabal misses with a wild body shot.
Chabal takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Chabal manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Chabal throws a hook but Silva blocks it.
Chabal throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.
Chabal lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.

Chabal throws a left that rocks Silva and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Chabal dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Silva regain composure!
Chabal misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Silva sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva is looking to control Chabal's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted?

Chabal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Chabal lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Junior Silva's cut is getting worse.

Chabal misses with a straight left.
Chabal throws a hook to the side of Silva's head but Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Chabal throws a series of strikes that have Silva backpedaling.

Junior Silva's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Chabal circles away from the clinch attempt.
Silva looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Chabal tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chabal cracks Silva with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Silva falls to his knees and Chabal doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ninja Turtle has hold of Kane's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Kane seems comfortable defending it but Ninja Turtle has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Kane is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Kane is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ninja Turtle couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Capone Jr throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kronic counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Capone Jr thinking.
Capone Jr throws a jab when Kronic was well out of range.
Kronic swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Capone Jr.

It looks like Al Capone Jr has been cut.
Capone Jr moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Capone Jr is rocked!
Capone Jr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kronic as he jumps to the side.
Kronic turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Capone Jr wants to clinch up but Kronic keeps it at a distance.
Kronic swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Capone Jr chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kronic can pounce on him.
Capone Jr is breathing heavily.
Kronic scores with a jab to the body.
Kronic scores with a push kick.
Good leg kick by Kronic there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Capone Jr with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kronic to score with a decent uppercut.
Oh Capone Jr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kronic closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Capone Jr out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mousasii lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Mondello falls backwards - clearly groggy! Mousasii dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
